School Profile / Mission: Marmion is a Catholic and Benedictine college-preparatory academy for boys with both day and residential programs. Located on the Illinois High Tech Corridor, Marmion students enjoy a scenic 325-acre campus in the beautiful Fox River Valley. Established in 1933, the schools educational objective is to educate the whole man by establishing a climate conducive to spiritual growth and intellectual endeavors. This goal is based on a firm belief in the goodness of each individual as an image of God, graced with unique spiritual, intellectual and physical potential. Marmion has a history of challenging academics and strong leadership programs. These academic-based leadership programs include a Junior Reserve Officer Training Program and Marmions own Leadership and Service Program. Over 30 percent of Marmion students receive over $200,000 in merit-based academic scholarships and need-based financial aid.
